Privacy Policy

Effective October 26, 2026 · Version 2026-10-26 · Floura is operated by Berkuma LLC ("Floura", "we", "us")

This policy explains what we collect when you use the Floura app and floura.app, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address, account type (designer or homeowner), studio and team details, and how you signed in (email code, password, Apple or Google).
  • Projects: the photos you upload, what you ask for, the designs Floura makes, comments, approvals, quotes and site visit bookings.
  • Site address and location: the address of the yard you're designing, and the map point you confirm for it. If you tap "I'm at the site" in the app, we use your phone's location once to find that address. We don't track your location in the background.
  • Payments: your plan and purchase history. Card details are handled by Apple or Stripe; we never see your full card number.
  • Messages to us: what you send through the contact and support forms.
  • Phone number and text-message choices: if you add a mobile number, we keep it (and whether you've proven it with a code) so you can sign in with it and recover your account. If you tick the text-message box, we record that you agreed, when, where (website or app), your IP address and device, and the wording you agreed to; we also record when you turn texts off or reply STOP.
  • Agreement records: which versions of our terms you agreed to, and records of electronic signatures (name typed, email, time, IP address and device), as described in our Electronic Communications Consent.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, app version, and push notification tokens, used to run the service, keep it secure and stop abuse.

How we use it

  • To run Floura: make designs from your photos, save your projects, and share them with the people you choose.
  • To send messages about your account, projects, quotes, visits and plan.
  • To text you one-time codes and account security messages, only if you agreed to texts and until you opt out. We don't send marketing texts.
  • To answer support requests.
  • To keep Floura secure, prevent fraud and spam, and meet legal duties.
  • To understand what to improve, using totals across many people, not your private photos.

We don't use your photos or projects to advertise to you, and we don't show ads in Floura.

Who we share it with

  • People on your project: the designer, client and teammates you share a project with can see its photos, designs, comments, quotes and site address.
  • Find a Pro: if you are a designer and choose to list your studio, your public profile is shown to homeowners.
  • Service providers who work for us under contract and only for these purposes: cloud hosting and storage (Amazon Web Services), AI image and text services that turn your photo and request into a design (such as Replicate), email delivery, text messages (Twilio), push notifications (Apple, Google Firebase and Expo), payments (Apple and Stripe), and maps and address search (Google Maps Platform).
  • Never for others' marketing: we don't sell your information, and we don't share your phone number or your agreement to receive texts with anyone for their own marketing.
  • When the law requires it, or to protect people's safety or our rights, and to a buyer if Floura is ever sold (this policy would still apply).

How long we keep it

We keep your account and projects while your account is open. When you delete your account, sign-in is switched off right away, your profile is removed, links you shared stop working and future site visits are cancelled. Some records stay as long as needed for legal, billing, security and signature purposes, and projects you shared can stay in the other people's records. To have your remaining photos and projects erased, ask us from the support page.

Your choices and rights

  • See and edit your details in your account settings.
  • Download your data in the app under Account, then Login & security. Delete your account at any time there, or on the web under Sign-in & account in your profile.
  • Turn notifications and location access on or off in your phone's settings.
  • Stop texts at any time by replying STOP to any Floura text, or under Verified contact details in your account settings. You can still sign in with your email address.
  • Depending on where you live (for example California or the European Union), you may have more rights, such as to know, correct or delete your information or to object to how it is used. We will not treat you differently for using them. Ask us from the support page.

Children

Floura is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and other reasonable measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep your email account safe.

Where data is processed

Floura is run from the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your information is processed in the United States and where our providers operate, with protections required by law.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will post the new version here with a new date and tell you in the app or by email.
