Consent to Electronic Communications and Signatures

Effective October 14, 2026 · Version 2026-10-14 · Floura is operated by Berkuma LLC ("Floura", "we", "us")

In short: Floura works online. By agreeing, you let us give you records, notices and documents electronically, and you agree that when you approve or accept something in Floura, that counts as your signature. You can ask for a free paper copy of anything, and you can withdraw this consent at any time.

1. What this covers

This consent covers every record, notice and document we give you, or that is shared with you through Floura, including:

  • these terms, our policies, and any changes to them;
  • account, security and sign-in messages;
  • receipts, invoices and notices about your Floura plan;
  • designs, comments, review requests and approval records on a project;
  • quotes, revisions, acceptances and declines between a designer and a client, and site visit bookings;
  • any other notice the law says we must give you in writing.

It applies to Floura accounts and to people who open a private review link without an account. It lasts until you withdraw it.

2. Electronic signatures

When you tap a button such as Approve, Accept quote or I agree, or type your name to sign, you are signing electronically. You agree that your electronic signature has the same effect as signing on paper, under the U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA) as adopted in your state.

For each signature we keep a record of what was signed, the name you typed, the email address on the account or review link, the date and time, your IP address and the type of device and browser. Both people on the project can see that a document was signed and when.

A quote in Floura is an agreement between the designer and their client. Floura provides the tool and keeps the record; Floura is not a party to that agreement.

3. How we deliver records

We deliver records by showing them in the Floura app or on floura.app, by email to the address on your account (or the address a designer used to share a project with you), or both. A record is delivered when it is available in Floura or sent to that email address, even if you don't open it.

4. What you need

  • A phone, tablet or computer with internet access.
  • A current version of Safari, Chrome, Edge or Firefox, or the Floura app on iPhone or iPad running a supported version of iOS.
  • An email address you can receive mail at.
  • Enough storage to save records, or a printer, if you want to keep copies.

By agreeing, you confirm you can open and read this page, which shows you can open the records we will send. If these requirements change in a way that could stop you opening or keeping records, we will tell you and you can withdraw without any fee.

5. Paper copies

You can ask for a paper copy of any record at no charge. Send a request from our support page (choose "Something else") and tell us which record you need and where to mail it. We aim to mail it within 10 business days. Asking for a paper copy does not withdraw your consent.

6. Withdrawing your consent

You can withdraw at any time by sending a request from our support page, or by deleting your account (in the app: Account, then Login & security; on the web: Sign-in & account in your profile). Withdrawing is free and takes effect within 3 business days.

Withdrawing does not change anything you already received or signed electronically. Because Floura only works online, after you withdraw you won't be able to sign or accept anything in Floura, and we may close your account. Your designer can still give you documents on paper outside Floura.

7. Keeping your email up to date

Please keep the email address on your account current. You can change it in your account settings. If email we send keeps bouncing, we may pause sending until it is fixed, and records will still be available in Floura.

8. Text messages

Floura does not send marketing text messages. If we ever offer text messages, such as sign-in codes, we will ask for your permission to text you separately.

9. Changes to this consent

If we change this consent in a way that matters, we will post the new version here with a new date and ask you to agree again before you sign anything else in Floura.
